How to assign Work to Staff in KaiZen?
Admin with permissions can assign – schedule or the specific work order to the designated staff.
A prerequisite for this is staff should be added to the System. Refer How to add Staff
Assigning schedule to Staff
Admin can assign the schedule to one or more staff. All future Work Orders created from that schedule will be automatically assigned to those staff(s).
- Go to PM Schedule and search the relevant Schedule which you want to assign to the staff.
- In the schedule, click on Add Assignee as in the below image
Assigning work order to Staff
Many times we need to assign only particular work order or job to staff(s), you can assign the work order instead of a schedule. Example – If staff is on leave and ad-hoc employee taken as replacement for a specific period.
- Go to Work Order and search the relevant Work Order which you want to assign to the staff.
- In the work order, click on Add Assignee as in the below image
Note:- Only this Work Order will be assigned to the staff. To assign all future work orders automatically, we can assign the schedule directly as explained in the first part.
